Assessments
The assessment process includes an initial clinical interview to discuss your, or your child's history, to clarify your questions that you would like to answer and the goals of the assessment process. This is followed by relevant assessments, report writing and then a feedback session to discuss the outcomes and suggested next steps.
Our reports are well respected, as they include user-friendly suggestions and recommendations for support and next steps, as required. Reports for funding are available for kindergarten and school. Letters of support are also available.
The assessment tools used by our team include standardised cognitive assessments, depression and anxiety scales, developmental checklists, interactive assessments, specific assessments to unpack possible ADHD, autism, OCD or other presentations as required. All assessments are only completed with your informed consent.
Assessments offered by our team include:
- Cognitive skills (Both for students who may be finding school difficult or too easy/boring).
- Autism (also known as Autism Spectrum Disorder).
- ADHD (also known as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
- Emotional wellbeing.
